    Description

    Perfect for a reenactment event or historic docent work. For consideration is a
    handmade, cotton, drawstring-waist skirt. Fabric is 100% cotton of solid medium green with a beautiful printed front center panel, common of the colonial era. The drawstring waist skirt ties at the front panel right side seam with a 5/8" wide green gross grain ribbon thru a 7/8" wide waist band that is top stitched for a clean finish. The front print panel has 1" wide lace down each side of it and a 2" wide green chiffon, pleated trim with darker green rick rack sewn to the center running across the bottom.
    The bottom of the solid part of the skirt is adorned with a 2" light green lace with darker green accents at the top. The skirt
    is ready for wear cannot be made longer. Can only be shortened by redoing the waistband lower which I can do if requested at the time of purchase for you but at an additional cost of Nice fullness so it can be worn over a crinoline or hoops skirt (
    which is not included in this sale
    ) as shown in some pictures. But please see the sweep measurements for fitting your hoop. All of the laces and trims have been sewn on by hand for a quality look.
    Ribbon edges are treated with a fray block. Sizing runs from XS to about Med but see measurements below for a good fit. T
