    Description

    This rare vintage 1930s "Harvester" tin tobacco display sign, measuring
    13" x 9", is in very good condition with no rust, two small creases on the edges and some very minor age related paint scrapes  and chips.  This striking yellow and red tin sign was made by the American Can Company,  Baltimore, MD.  It features a portrait of a smiling Cuban woman encircled in a red heart as well as the smoke that is rising from the lit "Harvester" cigar below her.  The Harvester Cigar Company was located in Connectict.  the company was named after the English racehorse "Harvester" who won the Epsom Derby in 1884.
